Exec: Mosenergo sees 2017 divs not below 2016 level
MOSCOW, Mar 13 (PRIME) -- Russian power producer Mosenergo expects that its dividend payments for 2017 will not be below the amount paid for 2016, a top executive said Tuesday during a conference call.
“Taking into account growth of net profit, we expect dividend payments in absolute figures to be not below payments for 2016,” he said, adding that final figures will be announced later.
The board of directors will consider dividend recommendations for 2017 at the end of April, the executive said.
In 2017, Mosenergo’s net profit soared 84.6% to 24.802 billion rubles, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Controlled by Gazprom Energoholding, Mosenergo paid 3.36 billion rubles in dividends for 2016.
